By now many of you who have an interest in cosmetic surgery have heard the term CoolSculpting®. At the Robert Zubowski MD Center in Paramus, NJ where I am Medical Director, we’ve found it to be an effective and well regarded tool in helping both men and women shape targeted areas on the face and body without undergoing surgery or experiencing downtime. It is totally non-invasive and ideal for folks who fear needles.
CoolSculpting is an FDA-approved procedure designed to treat excess fat buildup in five areas, specifically: the abdomen, love handles, inner and outer thighs, and a double chin. It works by freezing fat cells, causing them to wither and die. These dead cells are eventually eliminated from your body as part of your body’s natural mechanisms. In my opinion, as a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 25 years of experience, this revolutionary technique really does its job in reshaping specific problem areas. It is intended to help people who are within 30 pounds of their ideal weight. During your consultation we can discuss whether you are a good candidate for CoolSculpting.
Your procedure is done at the Robert Zubowski MD Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by one of our highly experienced licensed registered nurses trained in the procedure, and who all report directly to me. Feedback from my patients who have had the procedure indicates that it is typically well tolerated. Afterwards, you may return to your normal activities. Over the next several months you will notice a gradual improvement in the shape around the specifically treated areas.
If you’d like to explore your aesthetic improvement options, including CoolSculpting, please contact our office manager who will set up an appointment with either myself, or one of our registered nurses specializing in CoolSculpting.
