Frequently Asked Question about Plastic Surgery
We understand that you may have questions about the procedures we perform, so here are the answers to the most common questions we receive.
IS PLASTIC SURGERY RIGHT FOR ME?
The ideal plastic surgery candidate is someone who is in good general health and is well educated about his or her desired procedure. If you are interested in plastic surgery, it is important for you to have realistic expectations about the outcome of your procedure.
IS PLASTIC SURGERY SAFE?
While every surgical procedure involves some risk, your safety is our number one priority. We take every possible measure to ensure a safe surgery and a rapid, healthy recovery. You can help to maintain your own safety by carefully adhering to your pre- and post-operative instructions.
DO YOU OFFER NON-SURGICAL OPTIONS?
We offer a variety of non-surgical options designed to enhance your appearance. From BOTOX® Cosmetic injections to ease the appearance of wrinkles to microdermabrasion and custom-tailored skin care products, we can help you look and feel rejuvenated without invasive plastic surgery procedures.
DOES PLASTIC SURGERY HURT?
Everyone tolerates and responds to pain differently, but we will do our best to minimize pain and discomfort with the use of topical, local, and general anesthetic during your procedure, and pain medication during your recovery.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ME TO RECOVER?
Recovery time varies based on the individual and the type of procedure performed. During your consultation, Dr. Zubowski will tell you the average time needed to recover from your specific procedure.
WILL I SCAR?
We understand that visible scars may diminish the effect of your procedure, but we will do all we can to dramatically reduce or eliminate the possibility of scarring.
