Sculptra New Jersey Provider Dr. Zubowski

Sculptra injections are a discreet, long lasting nonsurgical solution designed to restore lost volume in depressed areas such as skin creases, facial wrinkles, and folds resulting from facial fat loss and natural aging. Our Sculptra filler is a simple facial rejuvenation procedure performed by board certified, New Jersey plastic surgeon Dr. Robert  Zubowski for giving your skin a gradual and significant increase in thickness. Sculptra injections will improve the appearance of folds and sunken areas on your face and provide you with a more youthful complexion.

Sculptra is a synthetic, injectable facial filler made from biocompatible material known as poly-L-lactic acid that naturally stimulates the body to produce its own collagen. It works progressively, gradually lifting and firming up the skin in select depressed areas. The dermal filler slowly improves the skin’s thickness over time by gradually and subtly correcting facial abnormalities. Sculptra can improve facial aging, smoothing the nasolabial lines that extend down from the nose, the marionette lines beside the mouth and sunken cheeks, erasing years of wrinkles and improving the appearance of your skin.

At the Robert Zubowski MD Center for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Zubowski will expertly inject Sculptra filler into selected areas of your face that have lost volume and formed a crease or a line.

During the treatment, the dermal filler Sculptra is injected into pre-determined areas often mapped out on the face. Topical anesthetic may be used, depending on the sensitivity or depth of the targeted site. There is a slight sting upon injection but there is very little discomfort afterward.

After the injections, it is common to gently massage the treated area to ensure an even distribution of Sculptra beneath your skin. Unlike some practices where treatments are administered by nurses, each of our Sculptra injections are performed by Dr. Zubowski.  Dermal filler treatments can take just minutes per area to perform and are nearly pain free. They are done with a very fine needle that minimizes the discomfort of the injection.

As with any dermal filler procedure, there is always the possibility of side effects to consider and Dr. Zubowski will discuss these risk factors and if they apply to you during your one-on-one consultation prior to your treatment.

Sculptra filler does not require any downtime, and you will begin to see the positive effects of the treatments gradually over time, avoiding a sudden change in your appearance. Depending on your goals, Dr. Zubowski may recommend a series of three to six treatments, spaced evenly over three to six weeks to achieve the best possible results. Your treated areas should look fuller and maintain their improved appearance for up to two years.

The cost of Sculptra can vary based on the areas being treated and how many vials will be required.
