Latisse® Eyelash Treatment in New Jersey
Paramus, Bergen County
At the Robert Zubowski MD Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, we incorporate the latest in skin care products to make looking good even easier for our valued patients. If you have thinly dispersed eyelashes and want longer, darker lashes, then Latisse® might be a good solution for you. While it does not work for everyone, studies of Latisse show that a high percentage of those who use it as prescribed achieve a significant increase in longer, thicker and darker eyelashes.
WHERE CAN I GET LATISSE?
During your consultation with Dr. Zubowski, a standard medical examination will determine if Latisse, a prescription product, is right for you. If it is, a prescription can be written. If you desire, the product can be purchased at the practice.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our patients who use Latisse (bimatoprose ophthalmic solution) 0.03%, will see results gradually over time, starting slowly with significant improvement after eight weeks. To ensure the most effective results, it is useful to know that Latisse works by lengthening the hair growth phase of your eyelash hair cycle; the results are sustainable as long as treatment continues; and as the treatment progresses you will begin to see noticeable changes, in particular, an increase in eyelash length, thickness and darkness.
HOW DO I USE LATISSE?
It is a once-a-day treatment that you apply yourself each evening to the base of your upper eyelashes as instructed by Dr. Zubowski.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU STOP USING IT?
If you stop using Latisse, your eyelashes are expected to return to their previous appearance over the ensuing weeks to months.
HOW SAFE IS IT?
Latisse is an FDA-approved prescription treatment for hypotrichosis, a condition for not having “enough” eyelashes. It is used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker and darker. The FDA clinical study review verified the identity, potency, purity, and stability of the ingredients, and demonstrated that the product is safe and effective for its intended purpose if used as prescribed.
