DR. ZUBOWSKI EXPLAINS VENUS FREEZE

Not too long ago board-certified plastic surgeons like me could offer our patients relatively few non-invasive anti-aging options. I am happy to report that we are now seeing the emergence of a number of technologies that can provide safe, FDA approved solutions to your facial wrinkles, cellulite, and even body shaping concerns.

One particularly impressive technology is called Venus Freeze ™, which we at the Robert Zubowski MD Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Paramus NJ apply to reduce facial wrinkles, cellulite and to produce excellent body contouring results. There are several things about Venus Freeze that I like, such as a virtually pain-free experience for the patient, its FDA safety stamp of approval, and the versatility it provides the surgeon.

The treatment itself, patients frequently remark, feels similar to a soothing hot stone massage. In actuality, its principles are based on both multi-polar radio frequency and magnetic pulsed fields. This combination produces a thermal reaction in your targeted tissue area to stimulate new collagen production as well as elastin fibers. The result makes your skin look and feel firmer while also giving it a more desirable elasticity.

My patients who have undergone the Venus Freeze love it and we can offer it to you also as an excellent alternative to liposuction. Typically, a facial treatment takes only 15 to 20 minutes, and a body session, on average,  30 to 45 minutes. You can expect to enjoy the positive effects for two to three months.  A maintenance session can be scheduled after that time when you feel you’re ready. My patients also tell me that they like the fact that the resulting decreased facial wrinkles, and less fat, are immediate.
