We, at the Robert Zubowski MD Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, continue to develop new and more efficient ways to meet our patients’ aesthetic goals. If you’ve already visited our state-of-the-art Paramus, NJ center, you’ve seen that we provide a full spectrum of aesthetic rejuvenation modalities and surgeries.
I’m delighted to report that after careful evaluation we’ve added two new imaging products that meet our high standards of safety, efficacy, patient comfort, reliability, and general worth.
The first technology is called the Vectra XT®, a 3D imaging system that gives patients a more accurate visual of what they will look like after their breast surgeries, facial procedures and/or body work. Traditionally, 2D imaging systems have been used by many plastic surgeons to capture “before” photos of patients, and then computer generate “proposed after” images. We believe the Vectra XT to be the next generation of this technology that helps the patient actually visualize the likely outcome of a particular procedure. The high resolution 3D color images themselves take only minutes to capture. During surgery I use the images to insure that patients receive the aesthetic improvements planned during our consultation.
Most of our patients also know that located within our center is a full service skin care department which I personally oversee. We are now introducing the Visia® technology, a complexion analysis system that painlessly and quickly gives a live image overlay, producing high-resolution facial views to help assess what skincare treatments and procedures will yield the best results for you. A unique feature is its ability to simulate the aging process so we can now show patients how they may look five to seven years down the road, with and without treatment.
Needless to say, we are very excited about these two new modalities. For more information about what we can do for you, please contact Ann Carbone, our Practice Manager.
