The combination of microneedling and radiofrequency energy delivers more skin rejuvenation benefits than ever before, with no downtime afterwards.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

It can help you lift, tone and tighten the skin on your brow, neck and under your chin without undergoing surgery.
During this 60-90 minute procedure, Dr. Robert Zubowski or his staff will use ultrasound energy to stimulate the deep structural support layers of your skin, causing your body’s natural healing process to kick in and create new, elastic collagen.

The Vivace device delivers radiofrequency energy through tiny needles which activates your body’s cell-regeneration process. The energy remodels skin structure underneath while triggering collagen production that contours and tightens. The treatment can be complemented with growth factor HAs and other cosmeceuticals to optimize results.

“One of the reasons patients who have tried microneedling are so excited about it is that the results are immediate and dramatic, combined with less downtime and less discomfort.”

-Jen, Licensed Aesthetician

VIVACE MICRONEEDLING WITH PRP

PRP, or platelet-rich plasma, can enhance the results of a microneedling treatment. PRP helps repair damaged cells and regenerate new tissue and is derived from the patient’s own blood; a small vial of the patient’s blood is taken, then spun in a centrifuge to separate out the platelets and plasma. The plasma is then injected or applied topically at the treatment site, which helps repair blood vessels, promote cell growth and healing, and stimulate collagen production.

Not all PRP processing is the same. At the Zubowski Center, we are proud to use Eclipse PRP® which utilizes an advanced and patented separator gel technology to more thoroughly separate the platelets from red and white blood cells. The Eclipse PRP system is more efficient in creating high volume PRP concentrations, so patients do not have to donate as much, or wait as long as other PRP systems.

DAY OF TREATMENT

On the day of your Vivace RF Microneedling Treatment at The Zubowski Center, our licensed aesthetician, Jennifer will apply a numbing agent to the area being treated. The treatment itself takes about 45 minutes. The result is improved appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and tighter skin immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions About Facelifts

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, involves using a device equipped with fine needles to create micro-injuries on the skin’s surface. These controlled punctures stimulate the body’s natural healing process, leading to increased collagen and elastin production, which helps improve skin texture and firmness.

Microneedling is effective in treating a variety of skin issues, including:

Fine lines and wrinkles
Acne scars
Enlarged pores
Stretch marks
Hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone
Skin laxity

Generally, microneedling is considered safe for all skin types and tones. However, individuals with certain conditions, such as active acne, eczema, or psoriasis, should consult with a dermatologist or licensed practitioner to determine if the procedure is appropriate for them.

A typical microneedling session involves:

Preparation: The skin is cleansed, and a topical numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort.
Procedure: The practitioner uses a microneedling device to create controlled micro-injuries on the targeted areas.
Post-Treatment: A soothing serum or mask may be applied to aid healing. The entire session usually lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the treatment area.

Post-treatment, patients may experience mild redness and swelling, similar to a sunburn, which typically subsides within 24 to 48 hours. Most individuals can resume their regular activities immediately but are advised to avoid direct sun exposure and strenuous exercise for a few days.

While noticeable improvements can be seen after a single session, a series of 3 to 6 treatments, spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart, is often recommended for optimal results. The exact number of sessions depends on individual skin concerns and desired outcomes.

Yes, microneedling is often combined with other treatments to enhance results. Common combinations include:

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP): Applying PRP derived from the patient’s blood can further stimulate collagen production and accelerate healing.
Topical Serums: Using serums rich in hyaluronic acid or growth factors during or after microneedling can improve hydration and rejuvenation.
Radiofrequency (RF): Combining microneedling with RF energy can enhance skin tightening effects.
Vivace: An advanced version of traditional microneedling, offering deeper collagen stimulation and improved skin tightening.

Microneedling is minimally invasive with a low risk profile. Potential side effects include:

Redness and swelling
Minor bruising
Dryness or flaking
Temporary hyperpigmentation

These effects are typically mild and resolve within a few days. Ensuring the procedure is performed by a qualified professional reduces the risk of complications.

While at-home microneedling devices are available, they differ significantly from professional treatments. Home devices have shorter needles, offering superficial benefits and carrying risks if not used properly, such as infection or skin damage.

Professional microneedling ensures deeper penetration, sterility, and personalized treatment plans for safer and more effective results.

Post-treatment care recommendations include:

Gentle Cleansing: Use a mild cleanser to clean the face.
Hydration: Apply a soothing, hydrating serum or moisturizer.
Sun Protection: Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen to protect the skin.
Avoid Irritants: Steer clear of makeup, retinol, and exfoliants for at least 24 hours post-treatment.

Following these guidelines helps ensure optimal results and minimizes potential side effects.
