Venus Concept Freeze®
Venus Freeze New Jersey Provider – Dr. Zubowski
WHAT IS VENUS FREEZE®?
Venus Freeze is an FDA-approved non-surgical body skin tightening procedure for reducing wrinkles and cellulite, and improving the tone of your skin without any downtime. It is the only skin tightening procedure that combines pulsed magnetic fields (PMF) and radio frequency energy to safely increase the production of collagen and improve the look of your skin in problematic areas such as the neck, chest, arms, back, thighs and buttocks.
WHAT DOES VENUS FREEZE DO?
There are two components to the Venus Freeze treatment. The magnetic pulse component activates the release of growth factors necessary for generating new blood vessels and dermal fibroblast cells that are responsible for generating connective tissue and enabling the skin to heal. At the same time, the radio frequency component promotes collagen and elastin fusion by causing controlled thermal damage in the upper layer of the skin; this action triggers the self-repair mechanism of skin tissue as well as the breakdown of fats. The outcome is a noticeable improvement in skin tightness, decreased fat mass, and better circulation of the blood which, in turn promotes cellulite reduction and firmer, tighter skin.
Venus Freeze sessions are grouped evenly over time, normally with a single session every week. The total number of treatments varies, depending on where on the body it is being applied. A maintenance program is suggested after the initial Venus Freeze treatments are completed to help maintain your long-term results.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY OF YOUR VENUS FREEZE TREATMENT
Dr. Zubowski will perform your Venus Freeze treatment at our Robert Zubowski MD Center for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, in Paramus, NJ. The Venus Freeze treatment is warm and soothing, pain-free and does not require anesthesia. The time required to perform the procedure varies, depending on the areas treated. The results of your treatment include skin tightening along with wrinkle and cellulite reduction. After your procedure, you may wear normal clothes and return to your regular daily routine.
Multiple sessions are suggested for the best results, and you should expect your progress to improve with each visit. We tend to recommend maintenance sessions since the Venus Freeze is not permanent and will often require additional sessions to maintain your results over an extended period of time.
IS VENUS FREEZE SAFE?
The Venus Freeze treatment is FDA-approved for wrinkles (also referred to as rhytides), and Health Canada approved it for temporary reduction of cellulite and skin tightening.
